Sahara steps up passenger services

The Dream Team Sahara (DTS) launched its Passenger  Information System (PIS) through its existing website during its second annual day function on Friday.

In another step aimed at improving its existing services, DTS launched an independent service PIS that will contain all information on all the routes that DTS covers and distance-wise ticket fare details. “This is an independent feature that will help the passengers get a detailed overview of how many buses are operating in which route along with their bus numbers,” said Dream Team Sahara Chairman Nishikant Mishra.  The website also contains a feedback section where complaints and suggestions can be registered.

A booklet on PIS titled ‘Travel Information Book’, was released by BMC Commissioner Sanjib Kumar Mishra.  The booklet also contains an exhaustive information about DTS’s operation and can be downloaded from the operator’s website.

Four major awards were given during the event. The awards were given to the best depo manager, best operation manager, best maintenance manager and best depo-cum-operations executive. “The recognition aims at encouraging the staff,” explained Mishra. Along with that, 22 drivers and conductors were also felicitated for performing their duties well. Traffic ACP Binod Kumar Dash was also present.
