Chairman of the National Commission for Scheduled Castes (NCSC) PL Punia will reach here on a two-day visit of the State for public hearing on inclusion and exclusion castes in the Central list from November 1.
Official sources said hearing will be held on Gaudia Kela, Adhuria Damada, Adhuria Dom, Rajak, Rajaka, Betara, Patratanti, Bariki, Kummari, Khadal, Khodal, Khadola, Chik, Chik Badalik, Situria, Jayanta Pano, Jena Pano and Paundara Pod. Organisations or individuals of these communities would meet Punia and other members of the commission on November 1.
Punia will also hear grievances of different communities who did not find a place in the list of Scheduled Castes. Vice-chairman of the Commission Rak Kumar Verka, M Sivanna and Latapriya Kumar, members of the commission, will be present during the hearing.
