Rechecking Results by December-End

The Council for Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) is yet to finish rechecking of this year’s answer sheets as there are very few lecturers for every subject while the registration for Annual Higher Secondary Examination (AHSE)-2014 was started a month back.

The Council for Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) is yet to finish rechecking of this year’s answer sheets as there are very few lecturers for every subject while the registration for Annual Higher Secondary Examination (AHSE)-2014 was started a month back.

This year, CHSE received more than 15,000 applications for rechecking in more than five subjects. About 80,000 papers need to be rechecked. This is for the first time that such a huge number of application for rechecking answer sheets has been received.

CHSE Controller of examination said finding subject lecturers was becoming difficult for them. However, sources said there is no adequate teachers especially in the science stream.

The delay in the publication of final results may jeopardise the admission prospects of many students. The Council examination results were declared in June. The sources said CHSE officials will ensure publication of the result of rechecking by end of this month.
