A group of autorickshaw drivers thrashed a traveller near Baramunda Bus Stand on Monday when the latter picked up an argument with one of them.
Bandhu Mallick, a resident of Khurda, was getting down from a City Bus when he was hit by an autorickshaw near the bus stand. He had an altercation with the driver over the incident.
Soon, more drivers joined and started raining blows on Mallick who received bloody injuries.
Following a complaint, Khandagiri Police detained one Trilochan Mohanty.
