The Department of Higher Education (DHE) has ordered a probe into allegation of sexual harassment reported in a management college of the Capital City.
In a letter addressed to the Employment and Technical Education and Training (ETET) Department, DHE Additional Secretary DP Behera has asked its officials to take appropriate action.
A female employee of the college had alleged sexual harassment by a senior official.
A Department of Technical Education and Training official said they have asked all the professional colleges to provide a report on formation of the internal committee under the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace Act, 2013.
