A 24-year-old girl died after the car she was travelling in turned turtle after being hit by a truck on Baramunda flyover on Sunday.
The girl, Debi Kalyani Tripathy, was returning home with her relatives when the mishap occurred. The car was overtaking the truck when it was hit by the latter. It took a spin and all the passengers were injured. Debi succumbed to injuries.
Debi belonging to Puri was in the City to appear for a bank entrance examination. After taking the test, she was picked up by her uncle and they were driving back home when the accident took place. Her uncle and a cousin were injured in the mishap.
