Three members of the Central Electricity Supply Utility (CESU) Board, including its chairman B C Jena, have resigned.
The other two members are Energy Secretary P K Jena and Gridco chairman and managing director Hemanta Sharma.
They are reported to have send their resignation letters to the Odisha Electricity Regulatory Commission (OERC).
While Jena, the non-executive chairman of the utility, confirmed his resignation, the two other members could not be reached. The Energy Secretary and Gridco CMD are ex officio members of CESU, which is under the management control of the Odisha Electricity Regulatory Commission (OERC).
A former member of Odisha Electricity Regulatory Commission (OERC), Jena took over the charge of chairman of CESU on April 10, 2010.
