CM flags off ambulance, Congress sees red

As Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik visited Mayurbhanj and Balasore districts on Monday to launch the 108 emergency ambulance service, a war of words has started between the Congress and the BJD, both staking claim to the initiative. While the Congress has alleged that the Chief Minister is trying to cheat the people by hijacking the schemes launched by the Centre and implementing it in the name of the State Government, the Biju Janata Dal has countered it by maintaining that a scheme under the State subject cannot be claimed by the Centre as its own.
