100 percent success by school in ICSE exam

The only ICSE school in the district, St Joseph’s School registered 100 per cent result consecutively for the second year. One of its students Diksha Padhi stood first with 91 per cent followed by Anindit Panigrahi with 90 per cent.

Out of 25 students, 21 passed in first division and four in second division. The Principal of the school Fr Rabindra Swal Singh congratulated the students and wished them success in life.

Rourkela: Anubhav Kar and Subham Agarwal of St Paul’s School here have come out with flying colours in the ICSE and ISC examinations respectively.

School principal Father Joseph said both Anubhav and Shubham were school toppers.

Anubhav secured 97 per cent in ICSE and Shubham 96.20 per cent in the ISC science stream.

In ICSE, 35 students scored above 90 per cent, while 42 secured 80-89 percent and 37 70-79 percent, he added. A total of 185 students of the school passed the ICSE examination and one failed while one did not take the examination.

In ISC, 108 students passed the examination and only one failed. As many as eight students secured above 90 per cent and 11 above 85 per cent.

Students of the St Gregorious School also performed well in ICSE as Subhendu Das emerged school topper with 96.3 per cent.

Subhendhu was followed by Sonali Sahu and Sukhdeep Kaur who secured 95 and 93 per cent respectively.

St Gregorious principal Father Kurien Abraham said 11 students secured above 90 percent and 94 students bagged first division and 34 among them secured distinctions.
