State Government has sanctioned ` 44 lakhs towards cluster development with products from different areas in the district. Funds were sanctioned after the district administration submitted proposals on several trades in the MSME sector. The trades include incense stick, handroll, ground nut, tribal jewellery, leaf cup plate, dokra casting and other art works in first phase.
The cluster development will deal with capacity building of artisans and promotion of their livelihood.
District Rural Development Agency officials said cluster development is an approach to promote trade and skill for better economic development of the MSME sector.
