Additional District and Session Judge R K Tosh on Thursday sentenced all the eight persons convicted in the killings of VHP leader and Hindu seer Laxmanananda Saraswati and four of his followers to life imprisonment.
On Monday and Tuesday, the court convicted the eight accused, Duryodhan Sonamajhi, Munda Badamajhi, Bijay Kumar Sanseth, Budhadev Naik, Bhaskar Sunamajhi of Katiguda, Sanatana Badamajhi, Garanath Chalanseth and Maoist Uday and P Ramarao on charges of committing criminal trespass, murder, criminal conspiracy and possession of illegal arms.
