BHUBANESWAR: The body of a 28-year-old man Dipu Nayak was retrieved by police from a quarters in Sweeper Colony on Utkal University campus here on Monday.

Police suspected that he might have committed suicide a few days back as his body was found in a decomposed state, hanging from the ceiling fan. Sources said Dipu was an auto-rickshaw driver and was living with his family at Rasulgarh. He shifted to the quarters a few days back after he had an argument with his family. On Monday morning, his parents reportedly arrived at the quarters to settle the matter and take him back home but found him hanging.

On being informed, police retrieved the body and sent it for autopsy. A case of unnatural death (UD) has been registered at Saheed Nagar police station.
