DEOGARH: Four teachers of Khajuribahal High School under Deogarh police limits have been arrested for clicking pictures of a tribal woman, while she was returning home after taking bath in a pond. Apparently, the woman was employed as a mid-day meal (MDM) cook in the school. They are Bishnu Charan Khadiratna, Purna Chandra Swain, Rajiv Lochan Pradhan and Guru Charan Sahu. Sources said the incident took place on August 14 when the woman was returning after a bath and carrying empty MDM rice bags.

Police said the woman was in a wet saree and accusing her of stealing rice, they took her pictures in their mobiles. They intimidated her and asked the woman not to disclose the incident before any one.

However, the victim narrated the incident to her husband who lodged a complaint with the Deogarh police station.

Deogarh SDPO, Radheshyam Mohapatra, said the four were arrested on Tuesday and forwarded to court.
