3 New Science Centres to Come up in State

BHUBANESWAR: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Saturday inaugurated a motion gallery at the Regional Science Centre (RSC) here.

Speaking on the occasion, Naveen urged the students to take interest in science.

“We have to excel in science and technology if we want to make India a leading nation in the 21st century,” he told the students.

He hoped that the new motion gallery would be immensely popular among the students and people, in general.

The Chief Minister announced that the State will have three new science centres at Jeypore, Keonjhar and Bargarh.

Director General, National Council of Science Museums, GS Rautela, School and Mass Education Minister Debi Prasad Mishra, Higher Education and Science and Technology Minister Pradeep Panigrahi and Director, Birla Industrial and Technical Museum, Kolkata, Sk Islam spoke, among others.
