NaMo Tea Stalls to Brew up BJP Votebank in Odisha

After launching about a dozen tea stalls named after its prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi across Odisha ahead of his February 11 rally here, the BJP on Tuesday opened one more stall at the party office here.
“We are planning to set up eight more ‘NaMo’ tea stalls at important locations in the city in the next few days,” Bhubaneswar district BJP president Amiya Das said.
The party has also started selling coupons worth Rs 100, Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 across the state.
The proceeds from the coupon sale would be utilised for the rally, he said.
Stating that public response to the coupon sale is very encouraging, Das said donation of even lesser amounts are accepted.
The party has taken the initiative to send invitation to every household in the city for the rally and has already distributed more than 10,000 ‘Modi for PM’ caps to party workers and others.
Workers’ meet are being organised in every ward of the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation to make the rally a grand success. Besides, the BJP volunteers have started ‘NaMo for PM’ campaign in all technical educational institutions in the city.
A website and a music album have also been launched to create awareness, Das added.
