BJP Chalks Out Plans Before Modi Rally

National BJP general secretary (organisation) Ram Lal on Tuesday asked the State leaders of the party to intensify the public contact programme and reach every household before February 11 rally of party’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi here.
Reviewing the election preparedness of the State unit of the BJP, Lal advised the State functionaries to ensure formation of election committees at booth level.
He emphasised that the functioning of booth level committees should be closely monitored and party workers motivated for door-to-door campaign with the development message of Modi. Awareness should be created among the people about the Gujarat development model.
National BJP general secretary Dharmendra Pradhan explained the preparatory measures taken by the party for the February 11 Vijay Sankalp rally.
The district, block and panchayat level functionaries have been asked to mobilise maximum people to the rally.
State BJP president KV Singhdeo, organising secretary Prasanna Mishra, former ministers Manmohan Samal, Surama Padhi, Pradip Nayak, Samir Mohanty, Mahila Morcha president Srimantini Jena, Bhubaneswar district president Amiya Dash and leaders of 11 Parliamentary constituencies attended the meeting.
