BALASORE:Two boys, one of them a law student, allegedly exploited a 15-year-old girl sexually for four days after kidnapping her from a fair and keeping her in confinement in Basta area of the district.
The incident that took place on March 24 came to the fore on Monday when the girl’s father lodged a written complaint with Basta police.
Though the police have registered a case, the accused are still at large.
Police said the girl belonging to Jaleswar had come along with her family members to Baruni Mela near Rajghat. One of the accused persons known to the girl called her on the pretext of discussing something. They took her to Subarnarekha bridge and gave her intoxication laced drink.
The two later took her to an isolated place between Balasore and Baripada where they assaulted her sexually for four days. During the captivity when she tried to raise an alarm, the two showed the video footage of their sexual act and threatened to make it public.
They dropped her near a Kali temple in Jaleswar and fled.
