BHUBANESWAR: The Capital Police arrested a 31-year-old man for stealing `2 lakh from a restaurant at Rajmahal Square here on Wednesday.
The accused was identified as Kanha Das of Balijhari in Cuttack district.
Kanha broke into a popular eatery in Ashok Nagar area on Wednesday and stole cash and four mobile phones.
On the basis of a complaint lodged by shop-owner Milan Gupta, Capital Police arrested Das from Unit I area. Around `70,000 and two mobiles were recovered from his possession, police said.
