BHUBANESWAR: The Sulabh International Social Service Organisation (SISSO) will be engaged for construction of 15 community toilet complexes in Puri for the Nabakalebara festival.

A decision to this effect was taken at a meeting of the Cabinet presided over by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik. The SISSO will also renovate some old toilet complexes in the Pilgrim Town besides constructing the toilets, Chief Secretary GC Pati told mediapersons after the meeting.

The Chief Secretary said grants from Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) and Odisha Power Generation Corporation (OPGC) will be utilised for construction of toilet complexes. The construction work will be over by June 30, he said.
