Nurse Detects Impure Injection, Saves Patient

BERHAMPUR: A nurse of medicine department of City Hospital here on Friday found an impure injection and saved a patient.

One Hanumant Behera went to the hospital complaining of stomach pain. The doctors, after necessary examination, found him to be a gastric patient and asked the nurse to administer an injection. The nurse took the injection vial from the hospital store and found some impurities. Later, the injection was seized by the hospital officials.

ADMO, medical,  Dr Saroj Misra, said the sample of the injection has been sent to drug inspector for examination.
