Pravasi Odia Utsav in Gurgaon

BHUBANESWAR: Union Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas Dharmendra Pradhan called upon Odia people living in other parts of the country to contribute to the progress of Odisha.

Addressing the Pravasi Odia Utsav at Gurgaon in Haryana organised by Kalinga Bharati Foundation on Sunday, Pradhan appealed to the Odia community living there to spread the culture and tradition of Odisha.

He exhorted them to work together untiringly to make Odisha a developed State by 2036, the centenary year of Odisha becoming a separate State.

Pradhan requested Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar to facilitate construction of Jagannath Temple in Gurgaon and help resolve some issues facing the temple in Faridabad.
