BHUBANESWAR: Cuttack-Barabati MLA Debasis Samantary has trashed his sister-in-law's accusations against him and his former legislator father Nityanand Samantray.
"This is an attempt to blackmail me and I would not react to such cheap allegations," the MLA told TNIE.
Samantray, whose alleged controversial links with Dhal Samanta brothers is yet to subside, faced this fresh charge after his younger brother's wife petitioned the State Commission for Women stating that though her husband is the joint managing director of the construction company owned by the family, they are being denied their share of money and are subjected to harsasment.
When contacted, Chairperson of SCW Lopamudra Buxipatra said she is indisposed and not aware of the matter.
