BHUBANESWAR: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), which is probing the multi-hundred crore Ponzi scam, raided the premises of Seashore Group chief Prashant Das at Laxmi Sagar area of the City as well as in Angul on Thursday.
The CBI sleuths searched two flats of Das and seized incriminating documents. A team from Ranchi also took part in the raid since the ponzi company was alleged to have defrauded depositors in Jharkhand.
The probe agency also searched the house of a lady director of the company at Palasuni.
The CBI has submitted its preliminary chargesheet in the case. Seashore is alleged to have cheated more than Rs.500 crore from depositors.
