BHUBANESWAR: The State Government on Thursday demanded that the entry fee of Konark Sun Temple, recently hiked by Archaeological Survey of India (ASI), should be slashed taking into consideration the interests of visitors. Both domestic and foreign tourists have been discouraged to visit Konark temple by the entry fee hike effected by ASI from April 2, Tourism Minister Ashok Panda said in a letter to Union Tourism Minister Mahesh Sharma.
