JEYPORE: One person died and another fell seriously ill after allegedly consuming ‘bhog’ in a local temple at Bsingpur village under Borrigumma block on Sunday.
The duo, Hari Mudli and Trinath Mudli, had taken the ‘bhog’ prepared in a local Tarini temple during Chaitra festival and fell sick.
They were rushed to Jeypore hospital, where Hari succumbed while Trinath was shifted to Koraput hospital in a critical condition. Bsingpur police is probing the matter.
