IRTE Team Surveys NH-16 Stretch

BHUBANESWAR:  A team of Institute of Road Traffic Education (IRTE), New Delhi accompanied by ACP, Traffic of the Twin City, surveyed the stretch between Pitapali Square and OMP Square on NH-16 on Wednesday.

The team identified spots which are prone to accidents and analysed the road engineering defects.

The team has been camping in the City since April 5 and will stay here till April 20. The final report, which the team will submit to the Traffic Wing of Commissionerate of Police, will be handed over to National Highway Authority of India.

The modifications to the design of existing structure on the highway will be incorporated as per the recommendations of IRTE authorities, a senior police official said.
