ITI Hands over Space for IISER Classes

BERHAMPUR: One floor of Government ITI building was handed over to Director of IISER-Bhopal on Tuesday to house the temporary campus for IISER-Berhampur.

While the State Government allotted 200 acres of land at Laudigaon, on the outskirts of the city, for permanent campus of IISER, it was decided that the temporary campus will be opened at Government ITI. Accordingly, the ITI administration agreed to alienate the second, third and fourth floors of the partially completed building for IISER. As construction of the second floor was completed recently, the ITI administration decided to hand it over to IISER. Director, IISER-Bhopal, Prof Binod Kumar signed a memorandum with ITI Principal, Rajat Panigrahy.
