Website of OSSC Hacked

BHUBANESWAR: The website of Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) was temporary suspended after it was hacked on Wednesday.

Sources said a Philippine cyber syndicate has hacked OSSC’s website www.ossc.gov.in and warned against misuse of the cyber world. It also sounded a note of warning against massive corruption in Government recruitments.

An emergency meeting was called at OSSC office to deal with the situation and adopt measures to prevent such incidents in future.

Chairman of OSSC Bhabani Shankar Das informed that a report was lodged with Cyber Crime cell of the police. Further evidence on the hacking incident is being sought by the Commission, Das added.

Special DG BK Sharma said the Crime Branch has taken up the case and started an inquiry.
