Ex-Cadres Tie Knot

MALKANGIRI:Two surrendered Maoists tied the knot with the help of local police here on Wednesday. Purnima Khara, a former member of organising squad of the CPI(Maoist) outfit, and her fellow cadre Rama Madkami, got married in a Shiva temple on Chalanguda mountain under Malkangiri police limits in the presence of cops and social workers. Police administration even presented the couple a television set as a wedding gift. While Purnima had surrendered in 2013, Rama gave up arms two years later. Apparently, the two had been in an affair and decided to marry after their surrender.
