MCI Team Visits SCB

CUTTACK: A four-member team of Medical Council of India (MCI) on Thursday visited SCB Medical College and Hospital here and inspected the infrastructure for 250 MBBS seats.

The team comprising doctors from Coimbatore, Manipur, Hyderabad and Kolkata visited all departments and enumerated patients. Apart from inspecting the status of different departments, the team also verified some documents.

Later, the team held a meeting with Principal of SCBMCH Prof Pratap Chandra Rath and other Heads of department in the evening. 

The MCI team is expected to submit its report to the Dean on Friday, said Rath.
