BHUBANESWAR: The light and sound show at Sun Temple in Konark will finally see the light of the day. The India Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC), which is implementing the project, has decided to complete the work by March, 2017. This was decided at a meeting between ITDC and Archeological Survey of India (ASI), which is in charge of the conservation work at the World Heritage Site, on Wednesday. Although the project was sanctioned three years back along with light and sound shows at Dhauli Shanti Stupa and Khandagiri-Udayagiri caves, it could not be implemented due to administrative delay on the part of ASI. Script and layout of the project has already been finalised, said ITDC DGM AK Gupta.
