Alumni Meet of CET

BHUBANESWAR: Over 100 former students from across 35 batches of College of Engineering and Technology (CET) participated in the annual alumni Meet of the institution which was organised here on Saturday.

The meet, which was inaugurated by Principal Prof PK Patra, discussed challenges and setbacks faced by the college and matter of autonomy for the institution.

The principal emphasised on three major goals that will be implemented from next academic session. These are centre of competence for Internet of Things, establishing a state-of-the-art Robotics lab in collaboration with IIT, Mumbai and a 3-D printing laboratory.

The meeting concluded with the alumni creating a roadmap for making CET a unitary university under the name Odisha Technological University (OTU) in order to make the college gain national visibility and standards.
