KENDRAPARA: Members of Kendrapara Citizen Forum have demanded before the authorities to shift the office of the Superintendent Engineer of Kendrapara Rural Works circle, which is currently functioning at Cuttack, to its permanent site at Kendrapara within a month.
“We will stage protest if our demand is not met within the stipulated time,” said Amarbar Biswal, president of the Forum.
Superintendent Engineer of Kendrapara Rural Works circle has been executing the official works in Cuttack despite having its own building at Kendrapada.
“Shifting of the office from Cuttack to Kendrapara will be useful for the people of Kendrapara. Rural development works move at a snail’s pace as the office functions in Cuttack,” alleged Akbar Ali, senior Congress leader and former chairman of Kendrapara Municipality.
