BHUBANESWAR: The State BJP on Sunday questioned the efficacy of Biju Kanya Ratna Yojana launched by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Saturday without spelling out details of the scheme.

Launching a broadside against the State Government, BJP spokesperson Sajjan Sharma told a media conference here that the CM has mastered the art of plagiarising schemes of the Centre or other States.

Alleging that the Biju Kanya Ratna Yojana is a poorly devised scheme, Sharma advised the CM to take lessons from the extremely popular 'Ladli Laxmi Yojana' launched by Madhya Pradesh Government.

Taking a jibe at the CM for remote launching of projects from the State Secretariat, Sharma said Naveen Patnaik is afraid of meeting people due to black flag demonstration by workers of opposition parties.
