JAGATSINGHPUR: A team of drug enforcement officials seized 152 bottles of cough syrup being sold illegally from a medicine store near BTM area in the town on Monday.
The raid was conducted by Jharsuguda Drug Inspector JR Panda, Vigilance DSP Birendra Naik and BTM police officials.
The team verified stocks and sale and purchase record of the shop. The bottles were allegedly being sold to drug addicts. A case has been registered under the provisions of Drug and Cosmetic Act 1940, said Panda.
