Managers of Cuttack hotel held in sex racket  

Malgodown police on Tuesday arrested two mangers of a Cuttack hotel on charges of patronising illicit flesh trade.

CUTTACK: Malgodown police on Tuesday arrested two mangers of a Cuttack hotel on charges of patronising illicit flesh trade. Police had busted a major sex racket operating from the hotel at College Square on Monday.  
The arrested are Prakash Biswal (59) of Kasanata in Kendrapara and Gagan Chandra Samal (48) of Kalianti within Mahanga police limits in Cuttack district.

Acting on a tip off, police raided the hotel on Monday and arrested two persons. Two women were also rescued during the raid.
During investigation, police found involvement of four managers of the hotel including Raju Sahoo, who managed to escape during the raid, in operation of the flesh trade, said DCP Sanjeev Arora.
Efforts are on to arrest the rest two accused managers and hotel owner. The hotel register seized by the police is also being verified, Arora said and added that a special drive would be launched to ensure that hotels and other public places in the City are not misutilised in this manner.
