BHUBANESWAR: City traffic will be regulated on Bidyut Marg and service lane of National Highway-16 during the closing ceremony of the 22nd Asian Athletics Championships (AAC) at Kalinga Stadium here on Sunday.
Police Commissioner YB Khurania on Saturday issued a traffic advisory restricting movement of vehicles between Sastri Nagar Square and Jaydev Vihar Square from 6 pm to 11 pm. Vehicle coming from 120 Battalion side will be diverted at Sastri Nagar Square towards Sachivalaya Marg and those moving from Nalco Square will be diverted towards Acharya Vihar Square at Jaydev Vihar Square.
The route between Behera Sahi Square and Nicco Park Square will remain closed for vehicular movement as the road will be used for parking on the closing day of AAC 2017.Traffic restrictions will be imposed on vehicles moving from Acharya Vihar Square to Jaydev Vihar Square on the service lane of NH-16 for the stipulated period. Vehicles having 'entry pass' for the event will be exempted from the restriction on the service lane.
