4 minor college boys held for gangrape in Odisha's Sundargarh

SUNDARGARH: Four minor students, accused in the gangrape of a minor college girl, were on Tuesday evening produced before the Juvenile Justice Board at the district headquarters town of Sundargarh by Bargaon police. The four allegedly gangraped a Plus II first year student on the premises of Bargaon Panchayat College on Monday. The victim’s parents, in their complaint, had alleged that the accused videographed the ghastly act but police failed to recover the video clip.

Baragaon IIC BK Singh said three Plus II second year and a Plus II first year students, all aged below 18 years, of the college were booked for the crime. He said investigation revealed that while a second year student, acquainted with  the victim girl, committed the crime, the rest three assisted him. Police failed to recover the obscene video clip of the victim and it appears that the juveniles have deleted it, Singh added.
The accused are being brought from Sundargarh town to be lodged at Observation Home at Rourkela.
