CUTTACK: The medicos of SCB Medical College and Hospital, Cuttack have extended their support to the ongoing cease work by the VIMSAR medicos at Burla. The SCB medicos have decided to wear black badges on Monday to express their solidarity.

“We are going to protest the vindictive action of VIMSAR Director by filing FIR against some PG students. We will protest in a peaceful manner by wearing black badges demanding impartial inquiry into the matter,” said Rajesh Sahu, president, Post Graduate Doctors’ Association of SCBMCH. The association has also condemned the whimsical attitude of the VIMSAR Director for humiliating doctors publicly.

The association has also convened an emergency meeting of its governing body on Monday evening to decide the further course of action, Sahu added.
