Polygraph test on 9 accused

Police will be conducting a lie detector tests on nine accused persons to unearth the mystery behind the murder of a mason.

JAGATSINGHPUR: Police will be conducting a lie detector tests on nine accused persons to unearth the mystery behind the murder of a mason. Body of the mason, Sarat Chandra Ray (65), was found near his village, Andhoti village under Jagatsinghpur police limits.

Ray’s son Srikant alleged that Sarat had an illicit relationship with a widow of the village and this was strongly protested by the woman’s son. Police picked up a widow and her son on suspicion of murder. Police also detained seven others, including a peon of a college, for interrogation.

As police could not make any  breakthrough, they sought permission for lie detection test, said IIC Rajani Kant Mishra.
