BHUBANESWAR: The Enforcement Directorate on Friday issued provisional orders to attach property worth Rs 1.6 crore belonging to three State Government officials in as many disproportionate assets cases registered by Vigilance in 2009.

The cases were handed over to ED for probe after submission of chargesheets by Vigilance.
An Executive Engineer of the Rural Development Department, Lalit Mohan Das was booked by Vigilance in a DA case eight years back. After probe, ED ordered attachment of his Rs 35.18 lakh property which includes seven plots and bank accounts.

In another case, the agency ordered attachment of Rs 75.59 lakh assets of Junior Motor Vehicle Inspector, Narendra Kumar Patel, who was posted at Suruli Gate in Koraput. He owns six plots and has bank deposits of Rs 18.56 lakh.

In the third case, orders were issued to attach property worth Rs 49.88 lakh owned by Forest Ranger Dillip Kumar Beura who was posted at Karanjia in Mayurbhanj district in 2009.
