Howrah-Mumbai trains rescheduled

Several trains under South Eastern Railway (SER) running through Rourkela on the busy Howrah-Mumbai route will be regulated at Chakradharpur Division for technical reasons on Saturday.

ROURKELA: Several trains under South Eastern Railway (SER) running through Rourkela on the busy Howrah-Mumbai route will be regulated at Chakradharpur Division for technical reasons on Saturday.
A statement from SER stated that there will be traffic-cum-power block at different timings on Saturday between Sini and Mahalimarup, Mahalimarup and Rajkharswan and Barabamboo and Chakradharpur stations for launching of Limited Height Subways (LHS).

Accordingly, Tatanagar-Gua-Tatanagar DEMU Passenger train will stand cancelled while the up and down Howrah-Titlagarh Ispat Express will be short-terminated at Tatanagar and Chakradharpur, respectively. Hence, Ispat Express will not run between Chakradharpur and Tatanagar on Saturday.
Moreover, Barbil-Howrah Janshatabdi Express has been rescheduled and it will leave Barbil at 4.30 pm. Similarly, Tatanagar-Rourkela-Alappuzha Link Express will leave Tatanagar at 6.30 pm while Dhanbad-Alappuzha Express will be rescheduled. Tatanagar-Bilaspur Passenger will leave Tatanagar at rescheduled timing at 6.15 pm, Tatanagar-Barbil Passenger will depart from Tatanagar at 6 pm and Chakradharpur-Howrah Passenger will leave Chakradharpur at 7 pm.
 Howrah-Mumbai Gitanjali Express, Durg-Rajendranagar South Bihar Express and Gua-Tatanagar Passenger will be controlled between Rourkela and Tatanagar and will run at rescheduled timing.
