BHUBANESWAR: Police on Sunday arrested nine persons, including three private security personnel, for indulging in a bar brawl on Saturday night.According to police, six men clashed with security personnel of a hotel under Chandrasekharpur police limits after they were denied entry into the bar. One of the persons inside the bar clicked a selfie and sent it to his friends saying he was having a good time over there. His friends arrived at the hotel after 12 am, but the bar was closed by then.
However, the five persons forcibly entered the hotel and went towards the bar where they were intercepted by the private security men. It led to a brawl among them.The PCR vehicle personnel arrived at the spot and nabbed nine persons, including the hotel’s three security staff. “Two separate cases have been registered in this regard. The nine persons were produced in a court on Sunday,” Chandrasekharpur police said.
