CUTTACK: Tension prevailed in Ravenshaw University campus on Monday following a clash between some students and outsiders leaving one person injured. As per reports, some former students of the university were engaged in gossip in front of psychology department when a group of boarders of East Hostel questioned them as why they were standing there in the night following which an exchange of hot took place.
Some more boarders joined them and all attacked the outsiders following which the latter fled from the spot leaving behind a motorcycle. The irate students have vandalised the motorcycle, said sources.
Malgodown police rushed to the spot and detained two persons involved in the clash.
