Vigilance sleuths on Monday searched the property of Divisional Forest Officer (DFO), Bhubaneswar, Chittaranjan Mishra in connection with a disproportionate assets (DA) case.

BHUBANESWAR: Vigilance sleuths on Monday searched the property of Divisional Forest Officer (DFO), Bhubaneswar, Chittaranjan Mishra in connection with a disproportionate assets (DA) case.
Bhubaneswar division Vigilance officers conducted simultaneous searches at Mishra’s triple-storey building in Old Town, single-storey building at Kanpur village in Cuttack district, his father-in-law’s house at Patapur in Puri district and his office in Green Park here. 

The Vigilance officers traced immovable and movable property of Mishra amounting to `1,01,03,946.
“We traced Mishra’s immovable property, including one plot in Old Town, amounting to `51,14,625. Similarly, household articles worth `11,94,844 and gold ornaments (335 gms) worth `8,72,000 were also traced during the searches,” a Vigilance spokesperson said.The Vigilance sleuths also traced `15,17,696 lakh deposits in different banks, a four-wheeler, life insurance policies of `5,88,781 during the raid.
