As many as 973 MSME units have been given incentives of `80.50 crore and those have generated employment of nearly 22,200 in the State since 2011-12. The Chief Minister hoped that the web application AIM will ease the administration of incentives benefiting more MSME entrepreneurs.
The MSME Department has made provisions for different incentives under MSME and Odisha Food Processing (OFP) policies for small and medium enterprises. Now, with the launch of AIM, entrepreneurs can apply for incentives online and avail the benefits within defined timeframe.
