BARPALI : An unscheduled visit of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik to Mohada village on Tuesday evening evoked enthusiastic response from the locals. As per reports, Naveen was on his way back to Bargarh after winding up his meeting at Agalpur village when he decided tovisit a nearby village. He then went to Mohada, which was the nearest, giving the unprepared villagers a pleasant shock. Naveen asked for a chair before initiating discussions with the villagers.

On being informed, MLA Prashant Jagdev and State working president of Biju Yuva Janata Dal Sanjit Mohanty, who were campaigning in the village, rushed to the spot where Naveen was interacting with the locals. Later, the entourage of the CM which had accompanied him to Agalpur, also joined in.
Villagers said Naveen enquired about their well-being and implementation of various welfare scheme launched by the State Government. He also urged the villagers to vote for BJD candidate Ritarani Sahu.
