Cinthol launches shower gel

Foundation day lecture at KIIT

Dr. Verghese Kurien, the Father of White Revolution in India, had utmost respect for the wisdom of Indian farmers and the expertise of competent professionals, said  RS Sodhi, Managing Director of GCMMF (Amul) at KIIT University on November 20, 2012. Delivering the 6th Foundation Day Lecture at KIIT School of Rural Management (KSRM), he said, Dr. Kurien was against policy measures such as FDI in retail sector, since he felt that such a move would be detrimental to the interest of Indian farmers.

A Samanta, Founder, KIIT & KISS congratulated Sodhi and said KIIT likes to invite great personalities to the institution and the state and learn from their wisdom. Prof. PP Mathur, VC, KIIT University, Dr. Sasmita Samanta, Registrar; Dr. LK Vaswani, Director, KSRM; and RN Dash, Secretary KIIT & KISS also spoke on the occasion.

New branch of OBC inaugurated

Oriental Bank of Commerce, Bhubaneswar Region added a new branch at Kendrapara on November 19, 2012. Inaugurated by Durga Prasad Behera, Collector & District Magistrate, Kendrapara in the presence of Gautam Sinha Ray, DGM, OBC, the total number of branches in  Bhubaneswar region reached 45 and total branch network of the bank touched 876.

Synergy lab gets GoI recognition

The Department of Scientific and Industrial Research,Government of India has accorded recognition to the research laboratory of Synergy Group of Institutions under Shivani Educational and Charitable Trust. Recently a scientific team visited the research laboratory of Synergy Institute of Technology and highly appreciated the research work being carried out in this institution in different areas of Nanotechnology and Polymer Science. This has been possible due to the concerted efforts of Binod Dash, Chairman Synergy Group of Institution and Prof PL Nayak, Director(R&D).

Samsung Galaxy Note II Incredible Art Piece
