Ban Madras Cafe, says Ramadoss

PMK founder S Ramadoss urged the Central and State governments to ban film Madras Cafe as the film which was reportedly shot with Sri Lankan government’s support  portrays the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam as terrorists.

In a statement, he said the film was shot in Sri Lankan with the support of the island government and further alleged that it was a propaganda effort by the Lankan government.

“A majority of the film was shot in Sri Lanka. It is not difficult to deduce that the film portrays the LTTE as terrorists, considering that it is going to be widely screened with the help of the Sri Lankan government. It is said that the film portrays the LTTE as an evil force.
