The Tamil Nadu branch of the Indian Red Cross Society plans to provide free training to 10,000 school and college students on first aid emergency management in Vellore and Tiruvannamalai districts, said S N Janardhanan, secretary of the sub-committee formed for the purpose. The decision is part of a plan to give training to one lakh students across the state.
